In "Game of the Month" I choose my best games of the recent month, these games will most likley will also be a participant for Game of the Tear
Febraury has been quite an good month, a lot of PSP games and some great XBLA arcade games.
Best Shooter: The Club
The Club, The arcade shooter The Club has stolen my heart this month, combing Arcade, Racing and Shooter genres The Club brings one of my favourite features (highscore contests) to the next level even though the game goes full price it is still worth it, check for more info my review here.

Best Roleplaying: Lost Odyssey
Lost Odyssey, exclusive for the Xbox 360, Lost Odyssey tries to get JRPGs for the Xbox 360.
It doesn't fail but it's a little standard JRPGs things, but there weren't a lot of RPGs this month, so Lost Odyssey is the RPG of the month!

Best Racing: Wipeout Pulse
Wipeout Pulse for the PSP takes Wipeout to our pocket, the graphics look quite good for an PSP game and the game plays good, if you have an PSP and like racing games go get Wipeout Pulse if you don't first try out the demo.

Best Strategy: Sins of a Solar Empire
Sins of a Solar Empire combines realtime strategy with an old space simulators, the game doesn't have any campaign mode but the multiplayer is just so much fun it makes it up for all of it, playing with friends can be very fun and for the low price it is worth it, for more information you can read my full review here.

Best Action Adventure: Devil May Cry 4
Devil May Cry 4 is the fourth game in the Devil May Cry series, the game is about Nero an demon hunter who tries to kill the series first main carachter: Dante, they soon fight it out and only one wins, the game is an straight forword hack 'n slash/ stylish fighting game where you try to kill your enemies with an Sword or with Guns.
Devil May Cry 4 is released on PS3 and Xbox 360 there will be an PC version
Best Miscellaneous: Professor Layton and the Curious Village
Owners of an DS can now play another great puzzle game, like brain age Professor Layton lets you do hard to solve questions, Professor Layton however has a lot of different puzzles and a cool story and an cool European cartoon look, Professor Layton is a very cool game and if you have an DS you should buy this.

Best Downloadable: N+
N+ has transformed from an free flash game to an XBLA game, the game has many many feautres, ranging from single player, co-op, multiplayer and an level editor, the game only costs 10 bucks, if you have an Xbox 360 and like playing Co-Op this game is made for you and it's much fun.

Best Mod: PVKII
PVKII is an Half Life 2 mods, you play as an Pirate, Viking or Knight, in this newest version of the mod there 3 more carachters and all the mods have been alterd, the mod was already good but now the mod is fantastic, you can download the mod here.

Best Retro: Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
Kirby returns on the Wii Virtual Console for only 1000 wiipoints (10 USD) with 4 player co-op and more it's a lot of fun and I sure recommend it!
It's Kirby first jump to 3D, after that he dies of but he is still allive on the DS so look out for him!
